Guitarists
need to have a certain level of fanaticism which can be exploited to achieve a
fine end result. The response to playing guitar, to play open chords and a few
cool songs is greatly exhilarating as it is associated with blessed nature of music, of evolving
style, and soaring spirits. It is an
honor and a privilege. The experience becomes positive and wonderful and in a
short time, one is able to think logically about music and make discoveries
while practicing. An environment that is highly motivating, encouraging,
pressure-free and fun is created.
Practice becomes a fulfilling challenge instead of an unwelcome chore.
After
learning about barre chords, scales and some neat tricks, a rocking feeling
develops. There is song on the lips after playing the blues, or singing solos
when the face lights up like 20 Christmas trees. The powerful and uplifting
moments after great struggles are second to no other feeling. Excitement,
exhilaration and passion for playing the guitar all create magic.
